Great Workout… and a surprise visit!

Good job on another great workout yesterday, everyone! It was also great to have Sensei Jason Duhaime out to work with us. For those who don’t know him, Sensei Doomer has been working in the Regina area lately so we haven’t seen him around too much. It’s always good to have him in the dojo! Just as aside, we don’t really consider Sensei Jason a visitor… he belongs with us! Just like that Uncle you only see once-in-a-while but it seems as though he’d never been away.

All of the “extra” duffle bags have been sold and sent away for embroidery. As soon as they arrive we’ll be handing those out. It was great to see so many crispy new gis on the floor yesterday!

We took a few additional registrations yesterday as well so we have over 90 registered karateka so far! That’s great. In case you’re wondering… we had 43 in attendance at our regular Jr/Adult class last night.

And for those of you who like to plan ahead, our home tournament, the Saskatchewan Provincial Wado Kai Karate Tournament, is scheduled for November 29 and 30, 2013 to be held at G.F. Kells High School. Add it to your calendar and plan to attend! It’s a great event attended by many great people from Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Alberta.

See you next week.

Still 3 Left…

We still have 3 more duffle bags available for sale.

If you would like to purchase one AND have it embroidered, you need to contact Sensei Kevin ASAP and bring payment to the class tomorrow. The reason for the rush is so we can include these additional duffle bags in the embroidery order for the large size bags that will be sent out on Wednesday.

The base price of the duffle bag is $65. If you wish additional embroidery the charge is $6 per word. Tax must added to the final price.

If there are any of these duffles left unsold tomorrow, they will still be avalailable but without the option of additional embroidery.

New Arrivals!

Good news…

The equipment order and the “Small” size gi bags have arrived! We will be handing out items on Tuesday during class. If you have not paid for your items, please be prepared to do so on Tuesday. The “Large” gi bags have also just arrived and we will be sending them to the embroidery house on Wednesday. You’ll learn why we’re waiting when you read the next paragraph.

We have an extra 4 small gi bags for sale. They have been pre-embroidered with our club logo but no name. There is a picture posted below. If you would like to purchase one of these bags, please contact Sensei Kevin ASAP! The cost “as is” without any name is $65. If you would like to add a name, we can send it in when our large bags go in on Wednesday, the cost will be an additional $6 per word. Price does not include tax. You can email Sensei Kevin at the following address if you want to claim a bag now before the rush for them on Tuesday. Consider this a bonus for being a blog follower!! Here’s the email address: info@moosemountainkarate.com This is a first come, first served offer ending once all 4 bags are spoken for. They look really good!

Here are the pics of the bags. They are red in color like our other bags but this photo makes them look a little on the pink side. Trust us, they’re very red!

Great Workout!

Way to go, everyone! We had another great turnout last night for an excellent workout. For being so early in the season, everyone is moving really well.

On a dojo note… We are up to 94 registered students with more contacting us each week. These are exciting times for us!

We ask for your continued patience as our enrolment increases and we make changes to our administration methods. The new electronic bar-code sign-in method seems to be settling in nicely.

Keep practicing your techniques and kata at home so you stay sharp and are ready to progress while in class by building upon those skills you have practiced.

See you at the dojo.
