Summer is a great time to enjoy practicing your karate in new environments and at any time of day!
Try doing some katas super slow in bare feet on the lawn! It feels great, and gives you a chance to perfect your positions while enjoying the fresh air. You can make a routine out of it. Enjoy your morning cup of coffee on the deck and then, literally, kick your day off with a great, relaxing kata or some other techniques. It’s also a great way to end your day. As the evening air begins to cool along with the grass, you can add another slow work out to calm your system before you settle in for the night.
