One last reminder that the Ontario trip commitment letters AND deposit are due TOMORROW!
We can then begin making arrangements for a specific number of people. Over the next few classes, hotel room sign-up sheets and trip information sheets will be made available. As much as possible, we would like to have 4 people to a room to keep costs down.

What a great surprise to have Sensei Cal Pittet come to our workout this week!
Sensei Cal is a Yodan, 4th degree, black belt and currently lives in the North West Territories. He began his training in Redvers.

The Letters of Commitment for the trip to Ontario are due on Tuesday, February 14 or earlier if you can get them to a sensei.
They MUST include a non-refundable deposit of $200 in cash or cheque (preferably cheque made out to MMWKK).
These are necessary for us to be able to make number-specific arrangements for the trip, including airline tickets which require a 50% deposit at the time of booking.
In the weeks to come, hotel room sign-up sheets, and informational/initial itineraries will be available.

… to everyone who travelled to Hamiota to participate in the Manitoba Provincial Wado Kai Karate Clinic and Tournament!
We had many members in attendance, and the organizers were very grateful we attended their event. Sensei Denis gave an excellent clinic on Friday night.
We can’t wait to hear how everyone did at our next class!

The Manitoba Provincial Clinic and Tournament is this coming weekend in Hamiota, MB. Here’s the info again:
Medical Declaration forms and Tournament Registration forms can be found in previous posts, or on our “Events” page.
Next week classes will be held on WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 8 due to a school event being held on the Tuesday. Classes will be at the regular times, just on Wednesday instead of Tuesday.
