Volunteers Needed

We hope everyone is having a terrific summer! It’s not too long until we’ll be back in the dojo!

Our club has been asked to help with the beer garden at Carlyle Fun Dayz this Saturday, August 20, 2022. We are needing some volunteers age 19 or older to help out. We will be working in shifts between noon and 2:00 am.

If you are able to help us out, please contact Sensei Rick, Sensei Jayson, or Sensei Kevin by phone or text message. You can also email us at moosemountainkarate@gmail.com

Members who assist in our fund-raisers, have access to funding from our “travel fund” to participate in other tournaments and events. Come on out and have some fun listening to the live band and hanging out!

Awesome Mini Tournament!

Congratulations to everyone who participated in our mini tournament yesterday! Everyone did very well! We’re excited to be back in action at our full tournament in November!

Next Tuesday, May 31, is our final night of karate classes for this season. We would like to thank all of our members for another great year at Moose Mountain Karate. Keep checking here for updates and information about events throughout the summer. Be sure to keep practicing your techniques and kata through the off-season so you’re in karate shape when we begin again in the fall!

Fall registration will be on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, and classes will begin on Tuesday, September 13, 2022!

See you at the dojo!

Sensei Rolland

Today is Sensei Rolland’s last day instructing with our club before he begins the next chapter of his life in Medicine Hat, AB.

Be sure to wish him good luck if you see him!

Sensei Rolland has been an inspiring leader and role model in our dojo for many years and we will miss him dearly.

Congratulations to everyone who participated in the grading last night! Everyone did a great job and worked really hard! Way to go!

We have regular classes next week. There will NOT be classes during the school Easter break.

Don’t forget to bring your new sign-in cards. Our new system is up and running!

See you at the dojo!

Grading Tonight

The grading is tonight. It will take place at your regular class time, but may run a little over the scheduled end time in order to do presentations.

Please arrive a few minutes early and do your own warm up so that we can begin the grading promptly. If you have one, PLEASE BRING YOUR KARATE PASSBOOK TO THE GRADING.

Good luck, everyone! Work hard; have fun!

See you at the dojo!
