Session 3 Fees and A note from the Saskatoon/Warman Tournament

Just a reminder that your fees for SESSION 3 are due now. Please help us keep our books up-to-date.

Here is a portion of an email from the organizers of the Saskatoon/Warman tournament  coming up in April.

______________

Hi Everyone,
Just a quick update on a couple of things for the Living Skies tournament on April 4th & 5th in Warman, SK:

1.  We are pleased to announce the addition of a second guest instructor: Sensei Sanfor deWitt.  Sensei Sanford is a Godan (5th degree) from Millbrook, ON, a past member of the SWKKF National Team, & the current International Kata coach for the National Team.  He has promised some “interesting” techniques during his instruction portion of the Friday clinic.
2. We are going to be using the SWKKF’s online registration service for pre-registration.  You can find it at http://shintani.ca/events-listed/tournament-registration.html.  While there will be registration at the event itself, we are asking that people use the pre-registration if possible.  Payment and signing of the registration form will be required when you arrive at the event.

PLEASE NOTE: There are 2 different registrations listed there:  one for the tournament, and a second if you are wishing to join us at the banquet after the tournament.  The tournament pre-registration will stay open until Apr. 3rd, but we ask that banquet tickets be reserved by March 29th.

Don’t forget that while we are always looking for lots of competitors, judges are always a much needed commodity!  Black & brown belts, give some hard thought to coming out and joining us!

As always, we look forward to seeing everyone!  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us!

Kick-a-Thon Tonight and New Session

We will be completing our kick-a-thon activity tonight during our regular workouts! The activity only takes about 15 minutes so REGULAR CLASS IS STILL GOING after the kick-a-thon event.

Even if you didn’t raise any pledges, you will still participate in the activity. It’s still karate… it’s still a class!

Also, the 3rd SESSION BEGINS NEXT WEEK! So be sure to come ready to pay your fees.

See you at the dojo!

Kick-a-Thon Tomorrow!!

Hopefully everyone has been out collecting pledges for our 1st Annual Kick-a-Thon!

The club is excited to be supporting Carlyle and Area KidSport, an organization that has supported our members for many years.

During the regular classes tomorrow, we will be doing our kick-a-thon activity. Please bring your pledge forms and money and turn them in to Sensei Kevin.

The top pledge earners from across Canada will be entered in a national prize draw from the Shintani Karate Federation!
