Happy New Year!

2015 was an exciting year for us.

Our membership grew, we celebrated our 30th Annual Tournament, and we have members attending a National karate tournament on the first ever Saskatchewan Provincial Karate Team.

Thank you to all of our members and their significant others who all help to make our club a success!

The senseis of Moose Mountain Wado Kai Karate Club wish all of you the very best in the New Year!

Classes resume on Tuesday, January 4, 2016.

See you at the dojo!

Congratulations!

… to everyone who participated in the grading last night.

Sensei Darren was impressed by how hard everyone was working, and how focused everyone was during the grading.

We would also like to thank Sensei Darren for coming out for the grading.

We’ll see everyone again on January 5, 2016! Have a Merry Christmas!

See you at the dojo.

GRADING TOMORROW!

Don’t forget that the grading is tomorrow.

The grading will start at 6:30 p.m. sharp. Everyone should be sure to arrive a little bit early to do their own warm-up.

You must be in attendance to be graded. Be sure that you use the washroom prior to the beginning of the grading. Students will be given only short breaks once the grading has begun. Bring water and ALL of your equipment. KNOW HOW TO TIE YOUR BELT!

Good luck to everyone.

See you at the dojo!

Video on YouTube

We have posted a helpful kata video on YouTube for our younger members who need to know Power Kata for their grading next week and want to practice at home.

The video will only be available until the grading day and will then be removed from the video library.

You can find the video here.

Excellent Workout

Everyone worked really hard at last night’s workout! Good job!!

The grading is NEXT WEEK!

Everyone (all ages and belt ranks) should be at the dojo ready to start at 6:30. In other words, we start at 6:30 sharp. Students must be in attendance to be graded or they will have to wait for the spring grading.

Practice at home. Work hard!

See you at the dojo!

Congratulations!

To Sensei Savanna, Sensei Quinn, Marlee Cormier, Payton Humphries, Nathen Schmidt, and Ethan Anderson for being selected to the Saskatchewan Provincial Karate Team!

This will be the first ever team from Saskatchewan to attend the Karate Canada Nationals! This year, the nationals are being held in Vancouver, British Columbia, at the end of January.

Way to go!
