LAST DAY! Then Party!

WOW! It’s hard to believe the last class of the season is here already.

This Tuesday, May 24, will be the final class of the year AND a KYU BELT GRADING.

The grading will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. The dojo will be open by 5:30 so you can come in and do a good stretch and warm up before it begins. Be sure to drink lots of water and eat well in the days leading up to the grading. Also, remember that your fees, and a $15 grading fee, are due before you can be graded.

Good Luck to everyone.

On Tuesday, May 31, all club members from this year are invited back to the dojo for a wind-up supper at 6:00 p.m. Members attending are asked to bring a small dish i.e. salad, potato chips, and a non-alcoholic beverage of their choice.

See you there.

Last Class for “Just for Kicks” and More Dates to Remember.

MAY 17  – This Tuesday, May 17, will be the last class of the year for the “Just for Kicks” group. It’s hard to believe the regular karate season is almost over and summer holidays are just around the corner!

MAY 24 – KYU (colored) BELT GRADING on Tuesday, May 24. The grading will begin at 6:00 p.m. so be sure to arrive early and do some stretching so you are ready to go. Everyone is asked to make sure their club fees are paid, including a $15 grading fee if you plan on being graded. Members with outstanding fees may not be eligible for grading.

MAY 31 – CLUB WIND-UP! 6:00 p.m.  For all members of Moose Mountain Wad0-Kai Karate this year from “Just for Kicks” right through to our Senseis.

Everyone who attends is asked to bring a food item like a salad or chips and a non-alcoholic beverage. The club will provide the main course. Come out and enjoy a supper with your fellow karateka.

Congratulations!!

… to all of the “Just for Kicks” who participated in the grading yesterday. Everyone looked really good and was working really hard. Way to go!!

The next 2 Tuesdays will be regular workouts. May 24 will be an Adult/Jr Kyu (colored) belt grading. May 31 will be our club wind-up.

Also, because of the terrible weather on Sunday, Sensei Scott from Weyburn has decided to re-schedule his tournament. Once we have his new date we will share it with everyone and it would be great to see lots of support from Carlyle.

The Club Duffle Bags have been sent away for embroidery and should be returned to us within the next couple of weeks.

Grading Update…

Also a reminder that there is a $15 grading fee that we ask to be handed in with your Grading Application Form.

Good luck to the “Just for Kicks” who will be grading next week!

Remember, if you want a little extra workout, come out to Built For Life gym on Thursday at 7 pm. There is usually a group of us training there.

See you next week.

Easter Break

Everyone did such a great job leading part of the workout on Tuesday. Way to go! It really  is good practice to get in front of a group and our group is so encouraging and supportive.

Easter break is next week but we will still have class on Tuesday, April 26. Consider it optional but some of us will be there for sure.

Enjoy your Easter break.

Coming up in our Dojo.
