Regular classes this week. Grading May 15!

Regular classes continue this week.

The grading will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2018.

Be sure to ask a Sensei if you have any questions about a kata or technique as you prepare for the grading. Start times for the grading will be determined soon.

The next tournament coming up is the 10th anniversary Melfort tournament on Saturday, May 5. If you’re up for a bit of a drive, it should be a fun event! Details coming soon.

Saskatoon/Warman Tournament Heads Up…

The location for their annual tournament and clinic has changed. It is NOT at the Legends Centre in Warman.

The tournament/Clinic will be held at “Traditions Elementary School” in Warman. Here is the address:

TRADITIONS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (401 Traditions Blvd.) in Warman, SK (15 minutes north of Saskatoon)

The following link is a Google Maps link. You’ll notice that Google has not kept up to the rapid growth of Warman, so it appears as though the tournament is in a field. Lol! Simply go past the Legends Centre and turn left on Clubhouse Blvd. We are anticipating being able to then turn right onto “Clubhouse Blvd.” It shouldn’t be difficult to find after that. We plan to follow the “School” signs if there are any.

Traditions Elementary School, Warman, SK

Sensei Crystal says it’s one of the only things out there and should be easy to find!

Don’t forget to pre-register online!

SESSION 3 Begins!

We are now into Session 3 of the karate season. Wow! Where has the time gone?!

Please be sure to pay your session fees to Vicki as soon as possible. If you are still owing for Session 2, please take care of those and any other outstanding fees right away.

Good luck to our members who are travelling to Calgary this weekend for the big tournament out there! We can’t wait to hear all about it!

Congratulations…

… to everyone who competed at the Manitoba Provincial Wado Kai Karate Clinic and Tournament last weekend!

It was nice to see so many members there as the Manitoba clubs are so good at supporting our events.

While there, it was confirmed that the Melita club will be hosting a tournament on Saturday, March 17 along with a self-defense clinic in the morning

Here’s the informational poster below.

Regular classes resume next week!
