Grading Changes

There are some changes to the grading procedure.

Due to the time constraints in our classes from the pandemic protocols, over the next 2 weeks, the senior black belts will be observing/assisting the various classes to develop an initial assessment of each candidate’s readiness for grading. During these classes, karateka are encouraged to treat each class as if it were a grading.

Another grading announcement will be made after these observations. We encourage everyone to be sure to attend each class for the next few weeks in order to adequately demonstrate their skills to the joseki board.

We appreciate your understanding.

See you at the dojo!

Grading Next Week!

We will be holding gradings in our regular classes next week. Please be sure to be in attendance.

We are asking everyone who is grading to complete a “Grading Application” form. This is simply to ensure that we know who to expect and that our records are up-to-date and accurate. Hard copy forms are also available if you cannot access the digital form provided here.
