Our home tournament is coming up fast! Although not required, we do expect all of our members to participate. It’s a fun event, and a great way to improve your karate skills and meet new people!

The annual clinic is on Friday, November 28, 2025 at G.F. Kells High School. Age 5, 6, and 7 are from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. Age 8 and up is from 7:30 to 9:30 pm. Our guest instructor is Sensei Denis Labbe, 9th Dan, President of the Shintani Wado Kai Karate Federation.

The tournament itself is on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at G.F. Kells High School. Registration opens at 9:00 am with the bow-in and black belt division begin at 10:00 am. After the black belt division, we start immediately with the youngest coloured (kyu) belts and work up to adult brown belt.

Tournaments are great experiences and are success-oriented in our organization! Everyone is enthusiastic and supportive of each other. Come out and have some fun with your “karate family!”
