MMK in the paper and Federation Events

There was a really nice article and some images in The Observer this week about the preparing and opening of our new dojo! Grab a paper and check it out!

The Shintani Federation is also hosting some upcoming events that could be of some interest to our members. The next event is a virtual Kata Clinic. Check out the poster below. Check the “Events” section HERE for more events and virtual workouts available to us.

We return to regular classes this week. We would like to thank our members for continuing to follow the provincial health guidelines. We do what we have to do so that we can do what we want to do.

See you at the dojo!

New Session Fees Due… New Virtual Tournament

Just a friendly reminder that we have now started “Session 2” and fees are due. Please bring them to your next class or send them with your karate student. Thank you.

There is another Virtual Tournament from the Shintani Federation beginning right away! Below you will find the poster and FAQ sheet. Here is a link to a downloadable poster with active links.

Happy New Year! New Session begins

Happy New Year to all of our karateka and volunteers! We hope you had a joyful holiday season and wish everyone the very best in the new year! The following link is a New Year greeting from the Senate of the Shintani Karate Federation.

Greetings from the SWKKF

Karate classes will resume in our dojo on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at the same times that we finished in December. If you were in classes last session, you do NOT have to pay the Shintani insurance fee for the next session. If you are joining us for the first time this season, then you will have to pay the Shintani fee as stated on our registration form. Returning members are NOT required to complete a new registration form, but if any information has changed, particularly contact information, please let us know as soon as possible. We ask that fees be paid at your first class of the new session.

See you at the dojo!
